Contact Lenses

Contact lenses correct your vision and are easy to wear. Our doctors will help you choose the contact lenses that will give you the best vision and comfort. There are many types of contacts to suit almost anyone. Types of contact lenses include:

Soft Contact Lenses:

The most frequently prescribed due to their tremendous comfort. Soft contacts are now available in multi focal, for astigmatism and even for daily wear. Soft contact lenses include:

  • Planned replacement: two week and one month replacements can be worn during the day and removed and cleaned at night
  • One day disposables can be worn during the day and conveniently thrown away at night.
  • Color enhancers can enhance the color of your eye.

Hard Contact Lenses:

Also called rigid or gas-permeable lenses, they offer sharp vision and can correct severe nearsightedness or astigmatism. However, hard contact lenses can be less comfortable at first than soft contact lenses.

At Curtis Eye Care and Northview Eye Care, we offer all types and brands of contact lenses specifically fitted for each individual’s needs. It is very important that your lenses are fitted correctly based on your prescription, eye shape and specific needs.
